Mid-level Class Action Associate Attorney

Job Overview: A law firm specializing in complex litigation seeks a Mid-level Class Action Associate Attorney to join its Atlanta, GA office. The ideal candidate will have substantial experience in class action defense and complex commercial litigation, demonstrating strong analytical abilities and attention to detail.

Duties:

• Effectively communicate, verbally and in writing, with clients, lawyers, business professionals, and third parties.
• Produce high-quality deliverables, answer phone calls, and respond to correspondence promptly.
• Ensure timely completion of work products while meeting deadlines and expectations.
• Foster positive relationships within the firm and with external parties.
• Comply with all firm policies and practices.
• Engage in physical and sedentary activities, including extended computer work, digital conference calls, and meetings as required.
• Perform all assigned duties, tasks, or projects diligently.

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Minimum of 4 years of litigation experience, preferably at an AmLaw 100 firm.
• Experience managing a multi-matter docket, with specific expertise in class action defense and complex commercial litigation.
• Previous federal clerkship experience preferred.
• Strong analytical and writing skills with attention to detail.
• Demonstrated good business judgment and excellent organizational abilities.
• Ability to work collaboratively as well as independently.
• Exceptional oral and written communication skills.
• Proficiency in legal research and problem-solving.
• Conceptual thinking and ability to influence others effectively.
• Demonstrated persuasive communication skills and management abilities.
• Strong project management skills with the ability to multi-task and prioritize effectively.
• Bar admission in good standing, with admission to the Georgia Bar required.
