Job Overview: A reputable law firm is seeking an experienced Maine-licensed litigation attorney to join their team as a full-time Associate Attorney or in an Of Counsel capacity. This role involves managing all Maine operations of the firm and leading the local office. The ideal candidate will possess strong attention to detail, excellent writing skills, and the ability to independently manage cases from initiation to completion.

Duties:
Oversee and manage the firm's Maine operations
Lead the Maine office and supervise local staff
Handle litigation cases, including representing clients in court
Manage foreclosures, commercial and residential closings
Provide business representation to regional and local businesses
Conduct general civil litigation
Collaborate with other attorneys and legal professionals
Requirements:
Minimum of 2 years of litigation experience
Ability to work independently and manage cases from start to finish
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Excellent writing and verbal communication skills
Education:
Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
Certifications:
Licensed to practice law in Maine and in good standing with the Maine State Bar
Skills:
Strong legal research and analytical skills
Effective case management abilities
Proficiency in legal drafting and documentation
Strong negotiation and advocacy skills
