Employment Litigation Associate Attorney

Job Overview:
A prominent law firm is seeking an experienced Employment Litigation Associate to join its team in Philadelphia, PA. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in employment law, particularly in defending and litigating employment-related claims, including discrimination, harassment, retaliation, and contract disputes. This role offers the opportunity to represent employers in a variety of legal forums, including court, administrative agencies, and arbitration.

Location:

• Philadelphia, PA

Duties:

• Defend and litigate lawsuits involving a wide range of employment-related claims, including discrimination, harassment, retaliation, and employment torts.
• Represent clients in court, before administrative agencies, at mediations, and in arbitration.
• Advise and counsel employers on employment law issues, including workplace policies, employee relations, and compliance with federal and state regulations.
• Provide training to employers on employment law matters and best practices.
• Handle class and collective actions related to employment matters.
• Manage and prioritize multiple litigation matters in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in employment or commercial litigation.
• Employment law background is strongly preferred.
• Admission to the Pennsylvania Bar in good standing.
• In-depth knowledge of state and federal employment law, including agency procedures (e.g., EEOC, state-level agencies).
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
• Excellent organizational, time management, and project management skills.
• Ability to handle multiple cases and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment.
• Strong commitment to professionalism, teamwork, and collegiality.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an ABA-accredited law school with excellent academic credentials.

Certifications:

• Admission to the Pennsylvania Bar (required).

Skills:

• Experience in employment and commercial litigation.
• Knowledge of employment laws, including discrimination, harassment, retaliation, and wage and hour issues.
• Experience with class/collective actions and employment-related disputes.
• Strong advocacy skills for court, mediation, and arbitration settings.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Ability to manage a diverse caseload in a fast-paced environment.
