Litigation Attorney

A law firm seeks a dedicated Litigation Attorney to join its St. Louis, MO office. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to client service and the ability to navigate complex legal challenges. This position offers an opportunity to collaborate with a team of experienced litigation professionals while managing a diverse caseload.

Duties

• Handle plaintiff personal injury cases from the initial claim through litigation and trial.
• Engage in negotiations with insurance companies and defense attorneys.
• Maintain effective communication and build positive relationships with clients.
• Draft necessary legal documents, including correspondence, pleadings, discovery requests, settlement agreements, and responses.
• Conduct and defend depositions.
• Represent clients in mediations, arbitrations, and jury trials.
• Ensure compliance with all legal standards and regulations.

Requirements

• Active license to practice law in Missouri.
• Minimum of 1 year of personal injury litigation experience.
• Preferred: Active license in Illinois.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Must hold an active law license in Missouri; an Illinois license is preferred.
