A law firm in Tampa, FL is seeking an experienced Litigating Attorney specializing in Personal Injury. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of personal injury cases from initial evaluation to settlement or trial. This role requires strong negotiation and communication skills, a firm understanding of Florida Personal Injury law, and the ability to handle a large caseload. The successful candidate will also demonstrate leadership abilities and a commitment to achieving the best results for clients.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Oversee gathering necessary documents and evidence related to personal injury claims.
  • Prepare and review demand letters and negotiate settlement offers.
  • Evaluate the merits of personal injury cases and provide guidance and counsel to clients.
  • Handle medical reviews, negotiations, and settlements as necessary.
  • Open new files, create litigation plans, and conduct discovery.
  • Manage all aspects of personal injury cases, including trial preparation if required.
  • Demonstrate strong negotiation and communication skills to interact effectively with clients and opposing parties.
  • Lead and manage a legal team, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.
  • Maintain a high caseload with effective organizational and leadership skills.
  • Provide empathetic client interaction during their time of need.
  • Strive to achieve optimal outcomes for clients and work diligently to win cases.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 2+ years of experience as a Personal Injury Litigation Attorney.
  • Strong knowledge of Florida Personal Injury law.
  • Proven experience in handling personal injury cases, including trial experience (preferred).
  • Ability to manage a high volume of cases efficiently.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills with experience in building and managing a legal team.
  • Bilingual in Spanish is a plus.

Education and Certifications:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to the Florida Bar.
