Job Overview:

A prominent law firm in Dallas, TX, seeks a qualified attorney to join its Institutional Response Group. This position involves working with institutions on matters involving Title IX, Title VI, Title VII, civil rights, and criminal laws addressing sexual and gender-based harassment and violence, discrimination, and related issues. Duties:

• Conduct investigations under Title IX, Title VI, Title VII, or related civil rights and criminal laws.
• Assist institutions or governmental agencies in designing and implementing trauma-informed, equitable prevention and resolution processes.
• Develop written policies, procedures, and educational materials related to compliance and institutional safety.
• Provide advisory services on regulatory compliance, including Title IX, the Clery Act, and child protection frameworks.
• Deliver comprehensive recommendations and solutions for governance, policy, and compliance infrastructure.
• Collaborate with institutions to address issues such as harassment, discrimination, child protection, and other forms of institutional misconduct.
• Facilitate educational training and support for client institutions.
• Travel as necessary to fulfill job responsibilities.

Requirements:

• Active law license in the state of Texas.
• Experience in Title IX, civil rights investigations, or related fields addressing harassment, discrimination, or abuse.
• Familiarity with regulatory compliance frameworks, including Title IX, the Clery Act, and child protection laws.
• Exceptional oral and written communication abilities.
• Demonstrated organizational and analytical skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills and leadership experience.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Licensed to practice law in Texas.
