Duties:

  • Lead mergers and acquisitions transactions from inception to closing.
  • Draft and negotiate acquisition agreements and other documentation in complex mergers, acquisitions, and private equity transactions.
  • Lead due diligence teams.
  • Provide counsel on general corporate matters and corporate governance.
  • Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams across practice areas.
  • Mentor and train junior associates.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of four years of significant experience in corporate transactions, with a focus on mergers and acquisitions and private equity, is required.
  • Strong working knowledge of acquisition agreements and related documentation.
  • Proven ability to manage challenging workloads.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills.
  • High degree of maturity.
  • Strong academic credentials and writing skills.
  • Admission to the Florida Bar or eligibility for admission.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Admission to the Florida Bar or eligibility for admission.

Skills:

  • Proficiency in drafting acquisition agreements and related documentation.
  • Ability to lead mergers and acquisitions transactions.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
