Senior Employment Law Associate Attorney

Job Overview: A law firm specializing in employment law seeks a Senior Employment Law Associate Attorney to join their team in Fairfield, NJ. The ideal candidate will manage all aspects of clients' employment law matters, providing strategic advice, negotiating agreements, and representing clients in hearings and trials.

Duties:

• Designing policies, procedures, and strategies related to employment law matters.
• Providing sound and practical employment law advice to clients.
• Drafting various legal documents, including letters, employee handbooks, and pleadings.
• Negotiating and mediating resolutions to employment disputes.
• Conducting discovery and gathering necessary case evidence.
• Writing comprehensive legal briefs to support client cases.
• Arguing motions in court to advocate for client positions.
• Prepared for and attended hearings and trials to represent clients effectively.

Requirements:

• Active member of the New Jersey Bar; New York Bar membership preferred.
• 5-7 years of experience practicing employment law.
• Proven experience managing employment law matters in New Jersey; experience in New York is advantageous.
• Demonstrated ability in counseling, negotiating, mediating, and litigating employment law cases.
• Self-starter with solid motivation and ethical standards.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in-office and remotely as needed.
