Associate Attorney needed for Mount Laurel office

A law firm is seeking an Associate Attorney for its Mount Laurel, NJ, office. This role involves assisting with litigation matters, particularly in casualty liability and/or medical malpractice.

Job Overview:

• Position: Associate Attorney

Duties:

• Conduct legal research and analysis
• Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and other legal documents
• Prepare for and participate in depositions, hearings, and trials
• Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and courts
• Assist in case management and strategy development
• Review and analyze discovery materials
• Provide general support to partners and senior attorneys

Requirements:

• Licensed to practice law in New Jersey
• 2-4 years of litigation experience
• Strong academic background
• Excellent written and oral advocacy skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
• Judicial clerkship experience preferred but not required

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school

Certifications:
