Job Overview:

A prestigious law firm is seeking a Mid-Level Corporate Associate for its Salt Lake City office. This role involves advising public and private companies on mergers and acquisitions, private equity transactions, and general corporate matters. Location:

Duties:

• Advise clients on M&A and private equity transactions.

• Handle corporate restructurings, venture capital transactions, and general corporate governance.

• Negotiate and draft transactional documents, including purchase agreements, financing agreements, and shareholder agreements.

• Work closely with clients to provide strategic legal counsel on business operations.

• Assist in due diligence and risk assessment for corporate transactions.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to execute complex business deals.

Requirements:

• 3 years of experience in M&A, private equity, and general corporate law.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple transactions simultaneously.

• Strong contract negotiation and drafting skills.

• Excellent analytical, research, and communication skills.

• Demonstrated ability to take ownership of projects and work independently.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Active membership in the Utah Bar or ability to obtain admission.
