A law firm seeks an experienced Real Estate Associate to join its growing team in Denver, Colorado. The ideal candidate will have expertise in real estate transactions, including secured loans and due diligence. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated professional to contribute to a thriving practice while supporting a diverse client base across multiple states, including Arizona and Nevada.

Duties:

  • Handle the negotiation, documentation, and closing of real estate-secured loans.
  • Conduct due diligence for real estate transactions, including reviewing contracts, title reports, and other related documents.
  • Advise clients on a wide range of real estate issues, including property acquisitions, financing, and leasing.
  • Collaborate with cross-office teams to support clients in multiple states, including Arizona, Nevada, and Colorado.
  • Draft and review real estate agreements, loan documents, and financing structures.
  • Provide strategic counsel to clients on real estate investments and portfolio management.
  • Assist in the development and execution of complex real estate transactions, ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
  • Support senior attorneys in managing client relationships and providing exceptional client service.

Requirements:

  • 3 to 5 years of general real estate law experience.
  • Experience in documenting, negotiating, and closing real estate-secured loans.
  • Strong academic credentials and proven ability to manage complex transactions.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
  • Strong commitment to delivering high-quality client service.
  • Experience supporting clients in Colorado, Arizona, and Nevada is a plus.

Education:

  • A J.D. from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Admission to the Colorado State Bar is required.
  • Admission to the Arizona, California, and/or Nevada State Bar is a plus.

Skills:

  • Deep understanding of real estate finance, secured loans, and related transactions.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to analyze and assess complex legal issues and provide practical solutions.
  • Proficiency in drafting and negotiating real estate documents.
