A law firm in Reno, NV, is seeking a Real Estate Associate Attorney with strong teamwork skills and exceptional written and oral communication abilities. The ideal candidate must have an outstanding academic background and 3-6 years of experience in commercial real estate transactions, including acquisitions, sales, development, leasing, title matters, land use, rights of way, construction contracts, and loan documents.

Duties:

  • Conduct legal research and analysis pertaining to real estate transactions and related matters.
  • Draft and negotiate a variety of commercial real estate agreements, including purchase agreements, leases, development agreements, and financing documents.
  • Provide legal counsel on title issues, land use regulations, and rights of way.
  • Review and analyze construction contracts and loan agreements.
  • Assist in due diligence investigations and transaction closings.
  • Handle real estate litigation matters as necessary.

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to the State Bar of Nevada or ability to waive in promptly.
  • 3-6 years of experience practicing real estate law at a reputable law firm.
  • Exceptional academic credentials.

Certifications (Preferred):

  • Certification in Real Estate Law from an accredited program (e.g., ABA).

Skills:

  • Strong written and oral communication skills with the ability to communicate complex legal concepts clearly.
  • Team-oriented approach with the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues and clients.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational abilities.
