Job Overview:
A distinguished law firm is seeking a self-motivated Associate Attorney to join its Workers' Compensation practice group in Moorestown, NJ. Location:

Duties:

  • Conduct thorough file review and legal analysis of workers' compensation claims.
  • Perform extensive legal research and draft client correspondence, discovery materials, and legal briefs.
  • Represent clients in depositions and hearings related to workers' compensation cases.
  • Prepare for trials, including witness retention and evaluation.
  • Draft appeals and appellate briefs as needed.
  • Meet the annual billable hour requirement of 1950 hours.

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of experience in workers' compensation law (experience in other practice areas is a plus).
  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an ABA-accredited law school.
  • Admitted to practice in New Jersey (additional state bar admissions are a plus but not required).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent legal research and writing abilities.
  • Strong oral communication skills for client interactions and court appearances.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong client service skills and the ability to respond promptly to communications.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an ABA-approved law school.

Certifications:

  • Admission to the New Jersey State Bar is required.
