Commercial Litigation Attorney

A law firm in Springfield, NJ, is seeking a skilled Commercial Litigation Attorney with 3-10 years of experience in commercial litigation, estate litigation, chancery court, and real estate litigation. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing complex litigation cases, providing strategic legal counsel, and representing clients in various legal proceedings. NJ Bar admission is required for this position.

Duties:

• Handle a diverse caseload involving commercial litigation, estate litigation, chancery court matters, and real estate disputes.
• Develop and implement litigation strategies to effectively represent clients.
• Draft and review legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and discovery requests.
• Represent clients in court proceedings, including trials, depositions, and arbitrations.
• Conduct legal research and analysis to support case strategy and provide expert legal counsel.
• Negotiate settlements and resolve disputes in favor of clients.
• Collaborate with clients to understand their legal needs and provide timely updates on case progress.
• Maintain thorough case files and documentation, ensuring compliance with legal procedures and deadlines.
• Participate in business development activities and contribute to the firm’s growth and client base.

Requirements:

• 3-10 years of experience in commercial litigation, estate litigation, chancery court, and real estate litigation.
• Strong knowledge of commercial litigation processes and legal principles.
• Proven experience in managing and resolving complex legal disputes.
• Ability to draft detailed legal documents and conduct effective legal research.
• Experience representing clients in court and negotiating settlements.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for client and court interactions.
• NJ Bar admission is required.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Admission to the New Jersey Bar.
