Duties:

  • Develop and implement employment policies, procedures, and strategies for clients.
  • Provide comprehensive and practical employment law guidance.
  • Draft legal documents such as employee handbooks, letters, pleadings, and briefs.

  • Conduct discovery and manage pre-trial activities.
  • Argue motions and appear in court for hearings and trials.
  • Represent clients in mediation and other dispute-resolution settings.

Requirements:

  • An active member of the New Jersey Bar (New York Bar membership is preferred).
  • Extensive experience handling employment law cases in New Jersey (New York experience preferred).
  • Proven ability to manage both employer and employee representation in counseling, negotiating, mediating, and litigating matters.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in both in-office and remote settings.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to the New Jersey Bar (New York Bar preferred).

Certifications:

  • Licensed to practice law in the state of New Jersey (New York license preferred).

Skills:

  • Strong knowledge of employment law, including compliance, litigation, and dispute resolution.
  • Excellent drafting, negotiation, and mediation skills.
  • Strong oral and written communication abilities.
