A law firm in Miami, FL is seeking a Mid-Level Litigation Associate Attorney with outstanding academic credentials and solid law firm experience. The ideal candidate will have expertise in Hatch Waxman litigation, superb writing and communication skills, and a preference for candidates with technical degrees in chemistry, biology, or related fields. The role involves drafting legal briefs, managing all aspects of fact and expert discovery, and contributing to the overall litigation strategy.

Duties:

  • Draft, review, and revise legal briefs, motions, and other litigation documents.
  • Manage and participate in all phases of fact and expert discovery.
  • Develop and execute litigation strategies, with a focus on Hatch Waxman cases.
  • Conduct thorough legal research and provide detailed analysis to support case preparation.
  • Represent clients in court hearings, depositions, and other legal proceedings.
  • Collaborate with clients, expert witnesses, and other legal professionals to build and present cases.
  • Organize and maintain case files, ensuring compliance with court deadlines and procedural requirements.
  • Offer insightful legal advice and regular updates to clients on case developments and strategies.

Requirements:

  • JD degree from an accredited law school.
  • 3+ years of experience in Hatch Waxman litigation.
  • Demonstrated ability to draft legal documents and handle discovery processes effectively.
  • High level of academic achievement and substantial law firm experience.
  • Preference for candidates with technical degrees in chemistry, biology, or a related field.

Education:

  • JD degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Admission to the Florida State Bar (or ability to obtain licensure).

Skills:
