This position focuses on handling complex corporate and finance transactions, with an emphasis on structured finance and securitization. Duties

• Advise clients on corporate and financial transactions, including structured finance and securitization.
• Draft and negotiate transaction documents for RMBS, ABS, CLOs, and other financing structures.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external parties to manage deal processes from inception to completion.
• Conduct legal research to address client-specific needs and industry developments.
• Provide strategic guidance on regulatory and compliance considerations in structured transactions.
• Participate in client development initiatives and maintain strong professional relationships.

Requirements

• Proven experience working within a law firm environment.
• Demonstrated expertise in corporate and/or finance transactions.
• Familiarity with structured finance, securitization, RMBS, ABS, CLOs, or related financing transactions.
• Excellent legal drafting and negotiation skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Education

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
• Strong academic performance is essential.

Certifications

• Licensed to practice law in New York or eligible for admission.

This large New York law firm opened with a labor and leveraged-leasing practice and quickly built a substantial corporate and litigation practice.
