Job Overview
A law firm seeks an enthusiastic and driven Associate Immigration Attorney to join their team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to represent a diverse range of clients, from individuals and families to businesses of all sizes, navigating the complex landscape of U.S. immigration law. Duties

  • Work directly with clients to assist with immigration matters, including visa processing, green card applications, naturalization, and more.
  • Represent clients before the Executive Office of Immigration Review and the Board of Immigration Appeals, including oral arguments, brief writing, and trials.
  • Advise individuals, families, and employers on immigration options and strategies.
  • Conduct legal research and keep up-to-date on changes in immigration law to provide accurate and effective counsel.
  • Collaborate with senior attorneys and support staff to ensure successful case outcomes.
  • Develop client-focused solutions and handle a variety of immigration-related issues, including deportation defense and asylum applications.
  • Manage and prioritize cases in a fast-paced environment, ensuring timely and effective legal service.

Requirements

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school (or equivalent).
  • Active bar license permitting practice in any U.S. state.
  • Passion for immigration law and a desire to advocate for diverse clients.
  • Ability to handle complex legal issues and think critically to find creative solutions.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to work independently and collaborate in a team.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment.
  • Proficiency in Spanish or another foreign language is a plus but not required.

Education

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications

  • Active Bar membership in any U.S. state (required).
