Job Overview: A legal recruitment firm is seeking an experienced Employment Litigation Attorney on behalf of a California-based firm. This fully remote role offers a unique opportunity to work on high-value plaintiff-side employment litigation matters, with a focus on delivering top-tier legal representation in a supportive and collaborative environment. The ideal candidate will have the ability to manage cases from inception to resolution and be a strong advocate for clients' rights in employment-related disputes.

Duties:

  • Manage plaintiff-side employment litigation cases from start to finish.
  • Draft and file legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and briefs.
  • Conduct discovery, depositions, and other litigation-related tasks.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and colleagues.
  • Negotiate settlements and represent clients in court hearings or trials as needed.
  • Maintain a caseload and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
  • Collaborate with other attorneys and legal staff to ensure high-quality work and outcomes.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in employment litigation, preferably on the plaintiff's side.
  • Strong writing and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to effectively manage multiple cases simultaneously.
  • Strong negotiation skills and the ability to advocate for clients.
  • Proven ability to work independently and as part of a remote team.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Active California Bar license (Required).
