Duties

• Represent clients in criminal defense matters and advise them on their legal rights.
• Prepare and draft legal documents, including motions and case strategies.
• Attend pretrial hearings, trials, and other court appearances on behalf of clients.
• Analyze legal precedents to predict case outcomes.
• Manage a caseload efficiently, ensuring timely progression of cases.
• Conduct legal research and gather evidence to support case arguments.
• Interview witnesses and engage with experts to strengthen clients' positions.
• Provide detailed legal analysis to determine case benefits and potential strategies.
• Prepare clients for depositions and other legal proceedings.

Requirements

• A minimum of 4-5 years of criminal defense experience.
• Proven ability to handle complex criminal cases at federal, state, and local levels.
• Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills.
• Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish (preferred).

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the California State Bar in good standing.

Certifications

• Active California State Bar membership.
