Associate Attorney for Las Vegas Office

Duties:

• Manage a diverse caseload, including family law, probate, and bankruptcy matters
• Conduct legal research and draft documents, including pleadings, motions, and agreements
• Represent clients in court proceedings, mediations, and other legal settings
• Collaborate with paralegals and support staff to ensure efficient case management
• Provide legal counsel and guidance to clients, ensuring effective communication and strategy
• Maintain client files and ensure all necessary documentation is up-to-date and accurate
• Participate in settlement negotiations and discussions
• Prepare for and attend trials when necessary

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
• Licensed to practice law in Nevada
• Experience in family law and probate preferred, but not required
• Strong research, writing, and communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work efficiently under deadlines
• Collaborative attitude with the ability to work independently when needed

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited institution

Certifications:

• Active Nevada Bar license (or pending)

Skills:

• Proficient in legal research tools and drafting legal documents
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong organizational and time management abilities
• Experience in family law, probate, or bankruptcy is a plus
• Ability to handle high-stress situations with professionalism and poise
