A law firm is seeking a Junior or Mid-level Associate Attorney for its Walnut Creek, CA location.

 

Job Overview:

The Junior or Mid-level Associate Attorney will be responsible for negotiating, documenting, and managing complex transactions, including commercial leasing, acquisitions and dispositions, and title and due diligence review. This position requires California Bar admission and 2-5 years of direct experience in transactional law.

 

Duties:

  • Negotiate and draft agreements for commercial leasing transactions.
  • Manage acquisitions and dispositions of real estate properties.
  • Conduct title and due diligence reviews for real estate transactions.
  • Provide legal counsel and support on transactional matters.
  • Collaborate with partners and senior attorneys on case strategy and development.
  • Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and other stakeholders.

 

Requirements:

  • Admission to the California State Bar.
  • 2-5 years of direct experience in negotiating, documenting, and managing complex transactions.
  • Strong understanding of commercial leasing, acquisitions and dispositions, and title and due diligence review.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.

 

Certifications:

Admission to the California State Bar.

 

Education:

Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.

 

Skills:
