Duties:

  • Manage a substantial caseload related to creditors' rights, ensuring efficient and effective legal representation.

  • Represent clients in court appearances and advocate on their behalf.
  • Collaborate with senior attorneys to develop and implement strategic case approaches.
  • Foster relationships within the legal community to enhance the firm’s reputation and client trust.
  • Stay updated on legal developments, particularly regarding TILA, RESPA, FDCPA, and the Bankruptcy Code, to provide informed legal counsel.

Requirements:

  • Must be an active member in good standing with the Missouri State Bar; able to obtain licensure in the Missouri federal district and bankruptcy courts quickly.
  • Preference for candidates with 5+ years of litigation experience; applications from newly licensed attorneys will also be considered.
  • Familiarity with the Missouri legal system and a commitment to delivering superior client service.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Active membership in the Missouri State Bar is required.
  • Additional Bar licenses are advantageous.
