General Litigation Associate Attorney

A law firm is currently seeking an Associate Attorney to join its General Litigation team in Myrtle Beach, SC. Location:

• Myrtle Beach, SC

Duties:

• Draft pleadings, motions, discovery, and legal briefs.
• Conduct legal research to support case development and strategies.
• Communicate with clients and opposing parties to resolve or settle claims.
• Manage a diversified caseload from case initiation to resolution.
• Provide timely case updates and reports to clients and internal teams.
• Collaborate with other attorneys during depositions, hearings, and court appearances.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in general litigation.
• Must be in good standing with the South Carolina Bar.
• Strong analytical, research, and writing skills.
• Ability to prioritize a heavy caseload and manage multiple assignments.
• Experience with legal software such as i-Manage and Juris Suite is a plus.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Admission to the South Carolina State Bar.
