Duties:

• Represent clients in housing court, Supreme Court, and other relevant legal settings.
• Manage landlord-tenant disputes, including regulated housing law matters.
• Conduct client interviews and case intake to gather necessary information.
• Draft and review pleadings, legal documents, and discovery materials.
• Handle trial preparation, including pre-trial discovery and motions.
• Meet tight deadlines and manage urgent tasks efficiently.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in housing court and landlord-tenant law in NYC.
• Demonstrated knowledge of regulated housing laws in New York.
• Proven ability to work independently and manage cases effectively.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Admission to the New York State Bar (required).
