Duties:

• Assess new files to establish action plans, budgets, and recommendations

• Identify pleading requirements and delegate tasks to paralegals

• Prepare discovery responses and manage document production

• Attend depositions, hearings, and other discovery events

• Negotiate settlements and secure authority as necessary

• Prepare for trial when needed

• Maintain regular communication with paralegals and legal assistants

Requirements:

• 3+ years of experience in insurance coverage litigation

• Licensed to practice law in Georgia

• Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and responsibilities efficiently

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and willing to learn new systems

• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

• Experience handling depositions, hearings, and trial preparation

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school

Certifications:

• Active membership in the Georgia State Bar (required)
