Duties

• Manage a full docket of premises liability and personal injury cases

• Lead all aspects of litigation from intake through settlement or jury verdict

• Communicate directly with clients, ensuring clarity and responsiveness throughout the legal process

• Conduct depositions and witness preparation

• Draft and respond to legal motions with precision and strategic intent

• Collaborate with staff, co-counsel, and experts to strengthen case preparation

• Negotiate settlements and represent clients at mediations and court proceedings

• Develop comprehensive litigation strategies tailored to individual cases

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of litigation experience in premises liability and/or personal injury law

• Strong command of Alabama Rules of Civil Procedure and Rules of Evidence

• Demonstrated success in court and a strong record of trial advocacy

• Admitted and in good standing with the Alabama State Bar

• Effective legal writing and oral advocacy skills

• Ability to independently manage cases while working within a collaborative team setting

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school

Certifications

• Active license to practice law in the state of Alabama
