Duties:

• Lead client consultations to understand their estate and business planning needs and provide tailored legal solutions.
• Draft, review, and execute wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and other estate planning documents.
• Advise clients on various estate planning and business strategies, ensuring plans align with their goals.
• Offer legal support and guidance through the estate and trust administration process, with sensitivity to clients' emotional needs.
• Conduct thorough legal research to ensure compliance with the latest regulations and practices in estate planning.
• Build strong relationships with clients, maintaining clear and ongoing communication throughout the planning process.
• Represent clients in court proceedings as necessary, particularly in estate and trust disputes.
• Keep client files well-organized and up-to-date.

Requirements:

• Active Michigan Bar membership and a valid attorney's license.
• A minimum of 1-2 years of experience in estate planning and probate law.
• Proficient in legal research, drafting, and document execution.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail, ensuring accuracy in client documents and communications.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks while maintaining high-quality work.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively connect with clients and team members.

Education:

• J.D. (Juris Doctor) degree from an accredited law school.
• 4-year undergraduate degree required.

Certifications:

• Michigan Bar License (Active).
