Job Overview:
A well-established boutique estate planning and elder law firm in New Jersey is seeking an experienced Estate Planning Attorney to join their team. This is a unique opportunity to work directly with clients to guide them in creating effective estate and asset protection plans. The ideal candidate will have the potential to quickly rise to an Attorney-in-Charge position within the firm. This role offers no client generation requirements, a cutting-edge estate planning and elder law practice, and the opportunity to collaborate with financial professionals to provide comprehensive retirement-focused planning.

Location:

  • Pennington, NJ

Duties:

  • Design and draft estate plans including wills, trusts, and asset protection strategies.
  • Conduct client meetings to assess needs, explain planning options, and oversee the implementation of plans.
  • Coordinate with the financial services team to ensure seamless, holistic planning for clients.
  • Manage estate administration cases, primarily for existing clients.
  • Mentor team members and help refine internal processes to support firm growth.

Requirements:

  • NJ or PA licensed attorney.
  • 2-5 years of estate planning and/or elder law experience.
  • Strong drafting and client counseling skills.
  • High attention to detail and excellent follow-through.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
  • Team player who thrives in a collaborative environment.
  • Passionate about working with retiree-aged clients and delivering exceptional service.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Active license to practice law in New Jersey or Pennsylvania.
