Job Overview

A leading law firm is seeking a junior to mid-level associate to join its finance group, specifically within the structured finance subgroup. The position offers hybrid flexibility with office locations available in various cities across the U.S. The ideal candidate will have at least two years of experience in structured finance, securitization, and/or asset-based lending. Duties

  • Provide legal support on structured finance and securitization transactions.
  • Draft, review, and negotiate transaction documents related to asset-based lending, structured finance, and securitization matters.
  • Conduct in-depth legal research and analysis on issues arising from structured finance and securitization matters.
  • Collaborate with senior attorneys on high-profile transactions, providing effective and timely legal solutions.
  • Develop and maintain strong client relationships, providing advice and updates throughout the transaction process.
  • Assist in the preparation of presentations, client memorandums, and other communication materials.
  • Work closely with team members to ensure the timely completion of client projects and deliverables.

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in structured finance, securitization, or asset-based lending.
  • Experience in an AmLaw 100 law firm is preferred.
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with a team.
  • Proven ability to handle complex legal issues with sound judgment and creativity.
  • Strong client-facing skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with clients and colleagues alike.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Licensed to practice law in the jurisdiction of application.

Education

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications

  • Active bar membership in the jurisdiction of application.
