Investment Management Associate Attorney

A law firm seeks an Investment Management Associate Attorney with three to six years of experience in institutional investment transactions to support its Spokane, WA team. This role involves offering sophisticated legal counsel on diverse investment transactions for clients, including pension funds, family offices, endowments, and other institutions. Duties

• Provide counsel on a broad range of traditional and alternative investment transactions for institutional clients.
• Coordinate closely with other practice areas to deliver comprehensive services on complex investment transactions.
• Manage and review detailed, extensive transaction documentation with accuracy and precision.
• Lead negotiations and communications with clients and third parties to facilitate investment agreements.
• Handle multiple ongoing projects with attention to detail and responsiveness.
• Engage in pro bono initiatives, supporting the firm’s commitment to community service and public interest work.

Requirements

• Experience: 3-6 years in investment management, fund structuring, or a related legal discipline.
• Licensing: JD from an ABA-accredited law school; active law license in good standing.
• Skills: Exceptional analytical abilities, document management, and attention to detail.
• Communication: Strong client-service focus with polished negotiation and communication abilities.
• Collaboration: Ability to work effectively as part of a diverse team as well as independently.
• Project Management: Adept at prioritizing and managing multiple assignments simultaneously.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an ABA-accredited law school.

Certifications
