Job Overview: As a Civil Litigation Associate Attorney, the candidate will be responsible for taking depositions, conducting site inspections, attending court hearings, preparing and responding to discovery requests, and providing essential support during trials. This role also involves managing their caseload and cultivating strong client relationships.

Duties:

  • Conduct depositions and site inspections.
  • Attend court hearings and proceedings.
  • Prepare and respond to discovery requests.
  • Assist in trial preparation and participation.
  • Manage a caseload independently.
  • Build and maintain business relationships with clients.
  • Provide legal counsel and representation to clients in civil litigation matters.

Requirements:

  • 1-5 years of litigation experience, preferably in first-party property or general liability defense litigation.
  • Admission to the Florida Bar is required.
  • Excellent academic credentials.
  • Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills.
  • Exceptional communication and negotiation skills.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
