  • Provide strategic counsel on intellectual property matters, including portfolio management and licensing.

Requirements:

  • Must possess a Ph.D. in biology, molecular biology, cellular biology, biochemistry, or a related discipline.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in biotechnology patent prosecution.
  • Strong academic credentials with a demonstrated ability to analyze complex scientific and legal issues.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey technical information.
  • Proven track record of successful patent prosecution and client management.

Education:

  • J.D. (Juris Doctor) from an accredited law school.
  • Ph.D. in biology, molecular biology, cellular biology, biochemistry, or a related discipline.

Certifications:

  • Active State Bar membership in good standing (preferably California).

Skills:

  • In-depth knowledge of biotechnology and related patent laws and regulations.
  • Strong analytical and research skills.
