Insurance Coverage Associate Attorney

A law firm in Miami, FL, seeks an Insurance Coverage Associate Attorney with 3-5 years of experience. The ideal candidate will have a robust background in insurance coverage representing policyholders or insurers, combined with litigation experience. The candidate must be licensed to practice in Florida.

Job Duties:

• Analyze and interpret first- and third-party insurance policies.
• Represent clients in insurance coverage disputes, including litigation.
• Draft pleadings, motions, and other legal documents.
• Conduct legal research and prepare memoranda on insurance coverage issues.
• Provide legal counsel and advice directly to clients.
• Participate in mediations and negotiations on behalf of clients.
• Develop and execute strategies for complex insurance coverage cases.
• Maintain and update client files and case management systems.
• Collaborate with colleagues to provide comprehensive legal services.
• Participate in firm marketing and business development initiatives.
• Engage in pro bono legal work as required.

Requirements:

• 3-5 years of insurance coverage experience representing policyholders or insurers.
• Litigation experience.
• Licensed to practice law in Florida.
• Strong analytical and writing skills.
• Familiarity with first- and third-party insurance policies and principles of insurance policy interpretation.
• Demonstrated leadership and initiative.

Education:
