Duties

  • Handle IP litigation cases, focusing on patent disputes and appeals.
  • Draft pleadings, motions, and other legal documents related to IP matters.
  • Provide legal analysis and strategic counsel to clients in the technology and intellectual property sectors.
  • Manage discovery, depositions, and pretrial activities.
  • Participate in court appearances and hearings as required.
  • Collaborate with senior attorneys on complex IP cases and litigation strategy.
  • Work closely with clients, providing updates and advising on case progress.

Requirements

  • 1-2 years of experience in patent or intellectual property litigation (preferred).
  • Admission to the California State Bar.
  • Undergraduate or graduate degree in a technical field (preferred).
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • High academic performance and exceptional legal research and analytical skills.
  • USPTO Registration as a Patent Attorney (preferred).
  • Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and ability to manage competing deadlines.

Education

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
  • Undergraduate or graduate degree in a technical field such as engineering, computer science, or a related discipline (preferred).

Certifications

  • Active membership in the California State Bar.
