Job Overview: A well-established law firm is seeking an experienced IP Litigation Associate Attorney to join its team. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in handling complex intellectual property litigation matters, with a focus on patent-related cases. Duties:

• Manage and oversee the progression of IP litigation cases, including patent disputes and related matters.
• Prepare and draft motions, pleadings, and other legal documents.
• Conduct depositions and collaborate with expert witnesses.
• Represent clients in PTAB proceedings, trials, and hearings.
• Supervise and guide junior associates and paralegals on case management and strategy.
• Develop and implement case strategies in collaboration with senior attorneys.
• Handle discovery, legal research, and other tasks as required to support case preparation.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in IP litigation, with a focus on patent prosecution and litigation.
• Proven track record of managing cases and working directly with clients.
• Experience with PTAB proceedings or trial practice is preferred.
• An engineering degree or related technical background is a plus.
• Ability to handle complex legal issues in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and research skills.
• Excellent written and oral communication abilities.

Education:

• J.D. from an accredited law school.
• Licensed to practice law in California, or ability to become licensed in CA promptly.

Certifications:

• Admission to the USPTO is preferred.
