Job Overview: A law firm in Cincinnati, OH, is seeking a dedicated and experienced Personal Injury Attorney to join their team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in personal injury or civil litigation, with a passion for advocating for clients' rights and securing favorable outcomes. This role involves client communication, taking and defending depositions, research, drafting, leading mediations, developing case strategies, and taking cases to trial.

Duties:

• Communicate effectively with clients to provide updates and gather necessary information.
• Take and defend depositions to gather evidence and witness testimonies.
• Conduct thorough legal research and draft various legal documents, including motions, pleadings, and briefs.
• Lead mediations to negotiate settlements and resolve disputes.
• Develop comprehensive case strategies to guide litigation and trial processes.
• Represent clients in court, taking cases to trial when necessary to achieve the best possible outcome.
• Maintain knowledge of and adhere to the Rules of Civil Procedure and Rules of Evidence.

Requirements:

• A minimum of 2+ years of experience practicing personal injury or civil litigation.
• Licensed and in good standing with the Ohio State Bar.
• Demonstrated experience drafting and responding to motions.
• Substantial knowledge of the Rules of Civil Procedure and the Rules of Evidence.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Must be licensed to practice law in Ohio and good standing with the Ohio State Bar.
