Duties:

  • Lead and manage complex land use, zoning, and development permitting cases.
  • Provide strategic legal advice and counsel clients on regulatory and compliance matters.
  • Draft and negotiate legal documents, including contracts, agreements, and permits.
  • Represent clients in administrative hearings, zoning board meetings, and court proceedings.
  • Manage and mentor junior attorneys and legal staff within the practice area.
  • Develop and maintain strong client relationships, serving as a trusted advisor.

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Active membership and good standing with the Florida State Bar.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience practicing law, focusing on land use, zoning, and development permitting.
  • Proven track record of handling complex legal matters independently and achieving favorable outcomes.
  • Strong analytical, research, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
