If you want to work in a wonderful, old-line San Diego firm that has culture completely unique to itself, this is the place for you. This firm is one of the oldest and most respected law firms in San Diego, known in the community for its expertise, its integrity, and its service. The Firm's lawyers - inspired by its principal founder, who served as the President of the San Diego County Bar, President of the Board of Governors of the California State Bar, and Chairman of the University of California Board of Regents - are encouraged to participate in pro bono and extra-legal community activities. Following his lead, three others of the Firm's lawyers have also served as Presidents of the County Bar Association. Over the course of the Firm's long and proud history, many things have changed, while many other things have remained constant. For instance, the Firm, with new offices overlooking magnificent San Diego harbor, is constantly evolving and expanding its practice areas to better serve the times and its changing clientele. In that spirit, the Firm has grown from three attorneys to more than 60 attorneys, partly through a home-grown program that recruits, trains, and retains some of the brightest young lawyers in the community. Throughout those changes, however, the Firm has retained a deep-seated philosophy, instilled and ingrained by its founding members, based on integrity, service, and community participation. This is a place where people truly love to work!
