Job Duties:

  • Represent clients in complex pharmaceutical patent litigation matters, including Hatch-Waxman Act cases.
  • Conduct legal research, draft pleadings, motions, discovery requests/responses, and other legal documents.
  • Assist in managing all aspects of litigation, including strategy development, fact investigation, and witness preparation.
  • Collaborate with partners and senior associates on case strategy and client counseling.
  • Attend hearings, depositions, and trials as necessary.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 3 years of experience practicing law, focusing on life sciences or pharmaceutical patent litigation.
  • Strong understanding of intellectual property law, including patents and the Hatch-Waxman Act.
  • Experience in dispute counseling within the pharmaceutical industry preferred.
  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an ABA-accredited law school.
  • Admitted to the Bar and in good standing in at least one U.S. jurisdiction.
  • Undergraduate degree in biology, chemistry, or another relevant field related to the pharmaceutical industry.

Education and Certifications:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an ABA-accredited law school.
  • Bachelor's degree in biology, chemistry, or equivalent relevant to the pharmaceutical industry.
