Job Title: Associate Attorney (Remote)

Duties:

• Handle personal injury cases from initial intake to resolution, including drafting pleadings, motions, and discovery requests.
• Conduct thorough legal research and analysis for case preparation.
• Represent clients in hearings, depositions, mediations, and trials.
• Develop case strategies and participate in negotiations and settlements.
• Maintain regular communication with clients, ensuring they are informed throughout the process.
• Collaborate with colleagues and support staff to manage caseloads effectively.
• Participate in strategy meetings, contributing ideas to enhance case outcomes.

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the State Bar and in good standing.
• 0-3 years of experience in personal injury law (trial experience a plus).
• Strong legal research and writing skills.
• Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking abilities.
• Comfort and confidence in handling litigation cases, including trial work.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote setting.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with a client-first focus.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Active State Bar membership in good standing.

Skills:

• Legal research and writing expertise.
• Strong litigation and trial preparation capabilities.
• Experience with case management software (preferred).
• Proficient in legal research tools (Westlaw, LexisNexis, etc.).
