Job Title: Senior Partner/Trial Attorney

A prominent law firm is seeking a highly experienced Senior Partner with a strong background in personal injury and automobile negligence cases. Duties:

• Manage a high-volume caseload from start to finish, including trial and appeal processes.
• Draft pleadings, motions, and discovery documents.
• Take depositions, make court appearances, and engage in necessary motion practice.
• Collaborate with clients and internal teams to develop and implement litigation strategies.
• Conduct detailed analyses of medical records, insurance policies, and other case-related documents.
• Perform legal research and jury verdict searches to support case preparation.
• Develop and present comprehensive insurance coverage opinions.
• Maintain strong, professional relationships with clients, ensuring all client guidelines and deadlines are met.
• Oversee junior associates, providing mentorship and delegating tasks as necessary.
• Record and maintain accurate billable hours in compliance with firm policies.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 8+ years of experience in defense litigation, with a focus on personal injury and automobile negligence cases.
• Proven trial experience with at least ten (10) jury verdicts.
• Strong background in handling UM/UIM, PIP, and other civil actions.
• Experience managing high-volume litigation and clients.
• Expertise in negotiating settlements, mediations, and arbitrations.
• Strong writing, research, and analytical skills with a commitment to producing high-quality work.
• Admission to the New York State Bar and United States District Court for the District of New York (admission to additional jurisdictions such as PA and/or CT is a plus).
• Experience with Federal Court litigation is advantageous.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Licensed to practice law in New York State.
• Additional Federal Court experience is a plus.
