A prominent law firm is seeking an experienced Real Estate/Corporate Attorney to join its well-established real estate and corporate practice in Reno, NV. This role is ideal for a motivated attorney with at least eight years of experience in general commercial transactions, including real estate. The position offers the opportunity to work with a dynamic team while providing excellent legal services to clients. Strong analytical, negotiating, and drafting skills are required. Membership in the Nevada Bar is preferred, or a willingness to sit for the Bar.

Duties:

  • Handle general commercial transactions, including real estate matters.
  • Draft, negotiate, and review contracts and legal documents related to real estate and corporate transactions.
  • Provide legal counsel on real estate purchases, sales, leases, and developments.
  • Collaborate with clients and team members to develop legal strategies and solutions.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations in corporate and real estate transactions.
  • Work on a wide range of corporate matters, including mergers, acquisitions, and entity formations.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in general commercial transactions, including real estate.
  • Proven ability to handle complex real estate and corporate legal matters.
  • Excellent analytical, negotiating, and drafting skills.
  • Strong client service focus and the ability to provide clear legal guidance.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative legal team.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Membership in the Nevada State Bar is preferred or a willingness to sit for the Nevada Bar.
