A law firm in Denver, CO, is seeking an experienced Real Estate Partner to lead its real estate practice group. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in real estate law, with extensive experience in handling complex real estate transactions, acquisitions, and development projects.

Duties:

  • Lead and manage the real estate practice group, providing strategic direction and oversight.
  • Develop and maintain client relationships, serving as a trusted advisor on real estate matters.
  • Handle a diverse portfolio of real estate transactions, including acquisitions, dispositions, leasing, and financing.
  • Conduct due diligence reviews and negotiate contracts and agreements on behalf of clients.
  • Provide legal counsel on land use and zoning issues, environmental regulations, and property development.
  • Collaborate with other practice areas within the firm to deliver comprehensive legal solutions to clients.
  • Mentor and supervise junior attorneys and support staff within the real estate practice group.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 8 years of experience practicing real estate law, preferably within a reputable law firm.
  • Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to the Colorado State Bar or eligibility for admission via reciprocity.
  • Proven track record of managing complex real estate transactions and client relationships.
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • Demonstrated leadership abilities and experience in mentoring junior attorneys.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:
