Commercial Real Estate Associate Lawyer

Toronto office of our client seeks a commercial real estate associate lawyer with 5 consecutive years of post-call experience in commercial real estate transactions and related documents, including the completion of acquisitions, dispositions, financings, and related matters. The candidate will have proactive, hands-on responsibility for a broad range of transactions including acquisitions, dispositions, and financings of commercial, retail, industrial, multi-residential, and mixed-use properties. Reviewing, drafting, and negotiating a wide array of ancillary documents related to real estate. Developing creative solutions to appropriately move files forward and sustain competitive advantage. Must be a member in good standing with the Law Society of Ontario. Must have some experience in executing and advising on corporate transactions such as the formation and organization of ownership entities (e.g., corporations, partnerships, limited partnerships) and small business transactions.

The candidate must demonstrate a proven ability to develop and maintain strong relationships. Shows superior organizational skills and detail orientation. Uses sound judgment, manages conflicting priorities, and works collaboratively. Must be an innovative, value-minded thinker. Must be proficient with the integration of technology and practice management tools. Must be resourceful and a diplomatic problem-solver.
