Duties:

  • Provide expert tax advice on M&A transactions and private equity deals.

  • Conduct thorough due diligence to identify and address tax risks and opportunities.
  • Collaborate with clients, legal teams, and business professionals to resolve complex tax matters.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant tax laws and regulations.
  • Deliver high-quality legal documents and reports within specified timelines.
  • Manage multiple projects and deadlines efficiently.
  • Communicate complex tax issues clearly and persuasively to clients and colleagues.

Requirements:

  • JD degree from an accredited law school.
  • Admitted to practice law in Washington, DC, or eligible for admission.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in transactional tax, focusing on M&A and private equity transactions.
  • Direct experience with an AmLaw 100 law firm or the SEC is preferred.
