Litigation Associate Attorney

Job Overview:
A prestigious law firm is seeking a Litigation Associate Attorney to manage a docket of commercial and non-commercial cases. The ideal candidate will have 1-3 years of personal injury law experience and be passionate about litigating cases. 

Location:

• Austin, TX

Duties:

• Manage a docket of 45-65 commercial and non-commercial personal injury cases, including motor vehicle collisions and premise liability.
• Conduct legal research and provide legal advice to clients.
• Negotiate settlements and handle all phases of litigation, including filing petitions, discovery, depositions, and court hearings.
• Attend mediations and trials.
• Manage dedicated staff and work collaboratively to ensure case progression.
• Maintain accurate case files and documentation.

Requirements:

• Active Texas Bar License and Juris Doctor (JD) degree.
• 1-3 years of experience in personal injury law.
• Strong legal research, negotiation, and litigation skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
• Passion for personal injury law and client advocacy.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
• Active membership in the Texas State Bar.

Certifications:

• Texas State Bar License in good standing.

Skills:

• Legal research and analysis.

• Strong understanding of personal injury law.
