Senior Insurance Coverage Attorney

A law firm in Coral Gables is seeking a Senior Insurance Coverage Attorney with 6+ years of experience to join its Insurance Services practice. The ideal candidate must have insurance coverage experience in third-party claims and bad faith declaratory judgment actions. Florida Bar admission is required.

Duties:

• Handle insurance coverage matters in the context of third-party claims and bad faith declaratory judgment actions.
• Provide legal advice and guidance on insurance coverage issues.
• Analyze insurance policies and interpret coverage provisions.
• Conduct legal research and draft memoranda, pleadings, and other legal documents.
• Represent clients in negotiations, mediations, arbitrations, and court proceedings.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to achieve client objectives.

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the Florida Bar.
• 6+ years of experience in insurance coverage matters.
• Proficiency in analyzing insurance policies and interpreting coverage provisions.
• Strong advocacy and negotiation skills.

Education:
