This position is suitable for attorneys with 2 to 8 years of experience in bankruptcy law, specifically those who have represented creditors' committees, indenture trustees, landlords, and trade creditors in various bankruptcy matters. Duties

  • Manage a caseload of bankruptcy cases, ensuring comprehensive representation for clients.
  • Conduct substantive court appearances and represent clients during bankruptcy proceedings.
  • Draft and file essential legal documents, including motions and pleadings.
  • Collaborate with colleagues across offices to develop effective litigation strategies.
  • Maintain communication with clients regarding case status and updates.
  • Engage in legal research and analysis to support case preparation.

Requirements

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • 2 to 8 years of relevant experience in bankruptcy law.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent client relations and communication skills.
  • Active bar admission in the attorney’s resident and/or affiliated office.

Education

  • Juris Doctorate from an accredited institution.

Certifications

  • Active membership in the state bar where the attorney practices.
