A law firm in Manchester, NH, is seeking a Trusts and Estates Associate Attorney with 3-5 years of experience in estate planning, tax planning, and trust and estate administration. The role offers an opportunity to assume significant responsibilities, collaborate with leading trusts and estates lawyers, engage directly with clients, and enhance professional skills with ample resources.

 

Duties:

  • Assist in estate planning for individuals and family-owned businesses.
  • Draft wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and other estate planning documents.
  • Conduct legal research on estate and tax planning strategies.
  • Handle trust and estate administration matters.
  • Prepare and file estate and gift tax returns.
  • Provide legal advice and guidance to clients on estate planning issues.
  • Collaborate with senior attorneys on complex trusts and estates matters.

 

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to the State Bar of New Hampshire or willingness to become admitted.
  • 3-5 years of experience in estate planning, tax planning, and trust and estate administration.
  • Strong understanding of estate and gift tax laws.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Strong work ethic and ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Ability to interact effectively with clients and colleagues at all levels.
